The workbooks for children and materials for parents and teachers for the program “Me, My Family and My Neighbors” of the special course “Culture of Good Neighborhood” were developed in 2006-2007 and adapted in 2015-2019 by experts from the Information and Research Center “Integration and Development” with the participation of specialists from regional institutes of postgraduate pedagogical education.
Each of the manuals was created in accordance with the program “Me, My Family and My Neighbors” of the special course “Culture of Good Neighborhood”. The manual is intended for systematic work on the development of civic and intercultural education, the formation of social competencies, skills of constructive communication and successful teamwork; it allows to take into account the regional peculiarities of the natural and cultural landscape of each region of the country. The workbook can also be used as a methodological guide for parents and teachers to organize the work of students in grades 1-5 in secondary schools – in class, during morning meetings and social hours, at parent meetings, in clubs and at home.
