On July 3, an online presentation of animated videos and methodological developments for teaching the Culture of Good Neighborhood course, prepared as additional supporting material, was held.
The purpose of the event was to familiarize practicing teachers who teach the course in schools with the videos and to give teachers an understanding of the course topics they can be effectively used for. During the presentation, Margarita Aradzhioni, Nelya Lebid, Iryna Unguryan, and Svitlana Aradzhioni, co-developers of the course and co-authors of the video scripts, took the floor. They demonstrated some of the videos from the series and shared methodological recommendations on how to integrate multimedia materials into classes and work with students.
Margarita Aragioni noted that the videos are additional material for teachers that can be used when teaching the subject “Culture of Good Neighborhood” in grades 5-6. A total of 10 videos were developed. It should be noted that the videos are based on the consideration of such relevant and practical topics as effective communication, conflict resolution, time management, and many others. All videos will be posted on the “Culture of Good Neighborhood” website, where they will be available for viewing or downloading starting August 1, 2023.
We would like to remind you that the first presentation of the animated videos took place within the framework of the X All-Ukrainian Workshop on the testing and implementation of the “Culture of Good Neighborhood” course.
The animated videos were developed as part of the piloting of the Culture of Good Neighborhood model curriculum in grades 5-6 with the support of the USAID/ENGAGE activity, which is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Pact in Ukraine.
